Check on you 03:23
Check on You Minus eleven this morning the feelings can always be much colder than this I‘m walking along the canal some people walk upon water Minus eleven this morning why is she not talking to me? I‘ll go for a run along the canal where some people have fun on ice Minus eleven this morning people don‘t want to be alone got used to checking on you so now no news is bad news Chorus I like taking pictures of the sun I send them to my family that‘s the way I have to say „Hi!“ this is how I say, - I‘m alright. Post-Chorus Check on you / Check on me Minus eleven this morning feelings can always be much colder than this let us sit by the canal and watch the world go by Minus eleven this morning it‘s not good that we should be alone Take courage and don‘t be afraid I‘ll make me a helper for you Chorus I like taking pictures of the sun I send them to my family that‘s the way I have to say „Hi!“ this is how I say, - I‘m alright

Let it go 03:37
a deep voice from the radio says, „follow your dreams“ and I follow the beams of the lights in the sky The transmission got interrupted for the announcement of a new life the road ahead of me has no one that I can see and I‘ve been thinking about it for a long very long time I come back to the world it was a bad time for everyone let it go let it go it‘s now all in the past I walked from end to end don't ask me to go back Why did you not let me alone in the first place? Look at you, look at you! Who are you to protest me? You gave me no chance, now wanna shake hands - I can‘t just turn it off. I‘ll keep driving in the heavy rain I just want to go home
3.
THESE STREETS It's been a long time you disappeared without a trace nothing looks the same can't go back to the previous place The streets have changed you got new kids on the block we now grew old /got held us in a lock Pre-chorus I don't like it now and I never did Chorus We don't like it now We never did My past was my best asset /and your future crop field yesterday is dead /some wounds will never heal Whatchoo gonna do now? /you wanna get rid of us? your fucking someone new /I don't see the fuss Pre-chorus I don't like it now and I never did Chorus We don't like it now We never did.

UNKIND REMARKS You'd better stay out of my way I gotta remove waste products I don't wanna see you ever again I knew you were trouble. I had fond memories, but I'm too busy doin' things in a world full of hate where many died and many are broken You'd... it's so much better I got no limits while you need to hold a leash to be a lady I'm an angry man who takes responsibility You'd... Kill all men! You make no sense Go away, drop dead. I don't care I wanna be me, I wanna be free I'll let you go I gotta be me, I gotta be free please, let me go It's gotta be me it's gotta be Now just go just go away you wanna be free, do you? Go just go just go

about

THE MARCH, Pictures of the Sun. Pictures of the sun is a line in the chorus on Check On You, the album's first song. An album that happens in Berlin, with its gentrification and long winters. It's about troubled and misunderstood people, who have to rely on their survival senses against a sometimes abusive life. And there's love. But above all, Pictures of the Sun is a natural expression of life -the sun, nothing new under it, yet always comes up. Going down by the water, no matter what your day was like... and watch the world go by
